Would you like to run a race on the circuit of one of the most famous and spectacular treks in the world?
A race to be held on 23 Oct 2023 in marathon, half-marathon and 10k format in the impressive circuit of the Himalayan Annapurna Natural Park. The Annapurna circuit is considered one of the most beautiful itineraries in the world, and the marathon passes through some of the most spectacular and picturesque places and villages in Nepal.
The marathon starts at the highest lake in the world, Tilicho lake, at 5000m altitude, and runs in descent. The half-marathon starts in the picturesque village of Manang, at 3600m altitude and ends both distances in the picturesque village of Pisang, at 3200m altitude and has one of the best logistic and organizational equipment, with the most sophisticated geolocation systems to guarantee the safety, control and satisfaction of the participants.
To allow acclimatization, the organization offers previously 4 days of trekking to reach Manang (21k) and 1 more stage to Lake Tilicho for those who run the 42k.
Transfers, lodging, all meals, 5-day trekking, stretching sessions, visits to temples and natural hot springs, finisher medal, jacket, and last day beer party are included in this marathon adventure. Optionally, you can climb Pisang Peak, 6091 m above sea level if you choose the Yeti Marathon + Climbing program after the race.

Yeti Marathon Nepal is a 42k, 21k, and 10k event organized by Geo-Planet events with Makalu Adventure Travel & Tours and takes place in the spectacular setting of the Annapurnas Natural Park (Nepal)
It will be held on October 23 with 1200m of positive slope and 3,500 negative in Marathon distance.
The departure is from Tilicho Lake (5000m) in 42k, from Manang (3550) in 21k and near Humde (3400m) in 10k and common arrival at the three distances in Pisang (3200m)
The minimum age to participate is 18 years old the same day of the celebration of the march. Minors under 18 will need to bring an authorization signed by their parents or guardians.
Participants are not required to be in possession of the federative athletics license.
.- It will be possible to compete individually or in teams (couples or teams up to a maximum of 5 participants), counting the time of the first 3 to enter the finish line.
Participants must bring:
.-BIB Number provided by the organization
.-Mobile loaded with the downloaded track
.-Geolocator (supplied by the organization), track downloaded to mobile or GPS watch and map.
The maximum time to carry out the march will be 7 hours. After that time the closing vehicle would pick up the participant.
To qualify for the trophies and raffles, participants must go through all controls within the maximum time established. The organization establishes the following CATEGORIES

TEAM CATEGORY 1st team men/women 1st mixed
* The teams may be made up of a maximum of 5 people of the same or different sex, the times will be added and the time of the last team member to enter the finish line will be taken into account. The last component may not enter more than 30 ‘from the rest of the team.
The organization makes a marking marked with arrows, tapes, and vertical signs and the tracks are provided to all runners so that they can follow the route. The organization will have support and protection vehicles for the participants, as well as motorcycles and opening and signaling cars, broom car, and sanitary service.
A diploma justifying the completion of the test will be delivered to all participants who finish and within the maximum time established.
The organization will have a clothing unloading point in case the weather conditions change and the participant decides to remove gloves or jackets.
There are few vehicles but in some sections, you drive on a dirt track with the possibility of encountering a vehicle or motorcycle, so caution is requested, you may be responsible for the infractions that you may commit.
The event has Civil Liability coverage. but it is highly recommended that they carry private insurance.
The organization will assist participants in the event of an accident but is not responsible for accidents in which the participating could be the cause or victim, nor for the expenses, debts or damages that they could incur, for that reason insurance is contracted.
If necessary for justified cause or force majeure, the organization reserves the right to modify the itinerary, controls, schedules, refreshments and these regulations.
If health care workers decide to withdraw a participant because they consider it necessary, they would have to abide by that decision for their safety. In the same way, the sports director has the power to withdraw a participant for unsportsmanlike behavior or penalize him for breach of the regulations, omitting part of the route, etc.
Any claim will be made at the end of the test, in writing and discreetly. Wildmaraton offers experience and the objective is that all participants enjoy and encourage fair play during the race. Any grievance, if any, should be dealt with directly with the organization and not publicly.
Registrations will be made in advance through the official pages: Marathon World, Runedia, or Makalu Adventure. Paying 10% of the registration as a deposit and the rest in two payments on the official website Wildmarathon.com
A percentage of the registration deposit is directed by The Hope Path cause to local development aid and environmental conservation causes. The organization transfers directly to the organization but is not responsible for the use made of these donations, although it does watch over and take care that they are reliable and that the contributions are directed to local help causes.
Participants must have an updated passport and the visa will be obtained at the Kathmandu airport.
It will be convenient to send the passport to Makalu to request the permission authorization to the Annapurnas Natural Park.
Returns (notice of cancellation by the participant):

In the case the participant decide to cancel he/she could ask to keep the registration for next edition or any other event of the Wildmarathon Series
Dropouts:
The runners who decide to leave are in the OBLIGATION of COMMUNICATING IT to the telephones that the organization facilitates, otherwise, the expenses of search, rescue will be passed on against the participant.
If a meteorological event or catastrophe occurs that prior to the trip, the organization will take care of the return of the registrations. If this event occurs during the trip or test, the organization reserves the right to change the date, not having to return the registration fee but being able to return partially evaluating the particular case.
Environment:
The YETI marathon offers each participant the possibility of visiting the ANNAPURNA NATURAL PARK, one of the most beautiful places on the planet, but this is also a place with high vulnerability, therefore the runner must be respectful with the environment, being STRICTLY PROHIBITED throwing waste out of the places authorized for it or generating damage to the natural environment. The organization has containers for the collection of waste in each supply area and we appreciate you making use of them. Failure to comply with this rule may mean the disqualification of the participant by the organization. Likewise, it is forbidden to alter the environment. Lack of sports ethics and morals, disobedience to the authorities, security means or organizers may also be cause for disqualification.
Image rights:
The participant, through their registration, agrees to assign the image rights to the organization for graphic and audiovisual dissemination for the exclusive use of the event, as well as the personal data required in the registration form that will be used for the communication-promotion of the event
Disclaimer
• The Yeti Marathon itinerary requires a demanding physical condition and adequate training to carry out the event. Registration by the runner implies to the organization that it is aware of it and that it is fully empowered to complete it, so it will be responsible for its performance and will assume risks involved in participating in the test, freeing the organization of derived responsibilities of accidents or incidents even with third parties, likewise, the organization will not be held responsible for any loss of material suffered during the event if it were not for justified cause of the organization.
• The participant assumes that it is their risk and counts to participate in the race. The organization seeks the safest route and means but cannot be held responsible for any external cause outside the organization’s control. Sometimes the access roads suffer damage in Nepal
• The participant assumes that she has her visa in conditions to travel and that she is authorized to enter the country of destination, not being able to request a refund from the organization, although it may seek some compensation.
• Registering for this race implies full acceptance of these regulations.

The itinerary has some sectors greater than 30% in decline, althought is not very technical. It is recommended to use trail or mixed footwear. The use of poles is allowed but not mandatory.

The organization has looked for the best dates (October) to avoid the heat, cold and the monsoon effect, so dry weather is assumed and without major alterations but this is not under control, even so, the environmental conditions are different from the start at 5000m altitu
de to the finish area in Pisang at 3200m altitude so the temperature may vary. Likewise, the weather can be changeable in the mountains.
A temperature is foreseen that could vary from 5ºC at the start to 20ºC at the time of the year of the celebration,
so the organization will have a point where the participant could unload clothes such as gloves, hat, jacket if it were of a nuisance.

Yeti Marathon Nepal is a 42k, 21k, and 10k event organized by Geo-Planet events with Makalu Adventure Travel & Tours and takes place in the spectacular setting of the Annapurnas Natural Park (Nepal)
It will be held on October 23 with 1200m of positive slope and 3,500 negative in Marathon distance.
The departure is from Tilicho Lake (5000m) in 42k, from Manang (3550) in 21k and near Humde (3400m) in 10k and common arrival at the three distances in Pisang (3200m)
The minimum age to participate is 18 years old the same day of the celebration of the march. Minors under 18 will need to bring an authorization signed by their parents or guardians.
Participants are not required to be in possession of the federative athletics license.
.- It will be possible to compete individually or in teams (couples or teams up to a maximum of 5 participants), counting the time of the first 3 to enter the finish line.Participants must bring:
.-BIB Number provided by the organization.-Mobile loaded with the downloaded track
.-Geolocator (supplied by the organization), track downloaded to mobile or GPS watch and map.
The maximum time to carry out the march will be 7 hours. After that time the closing vehicle would pick up the participant.
To qualify for the trophies and raffles, participants must go through all controls within the maximum time established. The organization establishes the following CATEGORIES

* The teams may be made up of a maximum of 5 people of the same or different sex, the times will be added and the time of the last team member to enter the finish line will be taken into account. The last component may not enter more than 30 ‘from the rest of the team.
The organization makes a marking marked with arrows, tapes, and vertical signs and the tracks are provided to all runners so that they can follow the route. The organization will have support and protection vehicles for the participants, as well as motorcycles and opening and signaling cars, broom car, and sanitary service.
A diploma justifying the completion of the test will be delivered to all participants who finish and within the maximum time established.
The organization will have a clothing unloading point in case the weather conditions change and the participant decides to remove gloves or jackets.
There are few vehicles but in some sections, you drive on a dirt track with the possibility of encountering a vehicle or motorcycle, so caution is requested, you may be responsible for the infractions that you may commit.
The event has Civil Liability coverage. but it is highly recommended that they carry private insurance.
The organization will assist participants in the event of an accident but is not responsible for accidents in which the participating could be the cause or victim, nor for the expenses, debts or damages that they could incur, for that reason insurance is contracted.
If necessary for justified cause or force majeure, the organization reserves the right to modify the itinerary, controls, schedules, refreshments and these regulations.
If health care workers decide to withdraw a participant because they consider it necessary, they would have to abide by that decision for their safety. In the same way, the sports director has the power to withdraw a participant for unsportsmanlike behavior or penalize him for breach of the regulations, omitting part of the route, etc.
Any claim will be made at the end of the test, in writing and discreetly. Wildmaraton offers experience and the objective is that all participants enjoy and encourage fair play during the race. Any grievance, if any, should be dealt with directly with the organization and not publicly.
Registrations will be made in advance through the official pages: Marathon World, Runedia, or Makalu Adventure. Paying 10% of the registration as a deposit and the rest in two payments on the official website Wildmarathon.com
A percentage of the registration deposit is directed by The Hope Path cause to local development aid and environmental conservation causes. The organization transfers directly to the organization but is not responsible for the use made of these donations, although it does watch over and take care that they are reliable and that the contributions are directed to local help causes.
Participants must have an updated passport and the visa will be obtained at the Kathmandu airport.It will be convenient to send the passport to Makalu to request the permission authorization to the Annapurnas Natural Park.
Returns (notice of cancellation by the participant):
Upon 3-months prior notice: 25 % Cancellation fee is applicable Upon 2 months prior notice: 50 % Cancellation fee is applicable Less than 30 days prior notice: 100 % Cancellation fee is applicable In the case the participant decide to cancel he/she could ask to keep the registration for next edition or any other event of the Wildmarathon Series
Dropouts:
The runners who decide to leave are in the OBLIGATION of COMMUNICATING IT to the telephones that the organization facilitates, otherwise, the expenses of search, rescue will be passed on against the participant.
If a meteorological event or catastrophe occurs that prior to the trip, the organization will take care of the return of the registrations. If this event occurs during the trip or test, the organization reserves the right to change the date, not having to return the registration fee but being able to return partially evaluating the particular case.
Environment:
The YETI marathon offers each participant the possibility of visiting the ANNAPURNA NATURAL PARK, one of the most beautiful places on the planet, but this is also a place with high vulnerability, therefore the runner must be respectful with the environment, being STRICTLY PROHIBITED throwing waste out of the places authorized for it or generating damage to the natural environment. The organization has containers for the collection of waste in each supply area and we appreciate you making use of them. Failure to comply with this rule may mean the disqualification of the participant by the organization. Likewise, it is forbidden to alter the environment. Lack of sports ethics and morals, disobedience to the authorities, security means or organizers may also be cause for disqualification.Image rights:
The participant, through their registration, agrees to assign the image rights to the organization for graphic and audiovisual dissemination for the exclusive use of the event, as well as the personal data required in the registration form that will be used for the communication-promotion of the eventDisclaimer
• The Yeti Marathon itinerary requires a demanding physical condition and adequate training to carry out the event. Registration by the runner implies to the organization that it is aware of it and that it is fully empowered to complete it, so it will be responsible for its performance and will assume risks involved in participating in the test, freeing the organization of derived responsibilities of accidents or incidents even with third parties, likewise, the organization will not be held responsible for any loss of material suffered during the event if it were not for justified cause of the organization.• The participant assumes that it is their risk and counts to participate in the race. The organization seeks the safest route and means but cannot be held responsible for any external cause outside the organization’s control. Sometimes the access roads suffer damage in Nepal
• The participant assumes that she has her visa in conditions to travel and that she is authorized to enter the country of destination, not being able to request a refund from the organization, although it may seek some compensation.
• Registering for this race implies full acceptance of these regulations.

The itinerary has some sectors greater than 30% in decline, althought is not very technical. It is recommended to use trail or mixed footwear. The use of poles is allowed but not mandatory.
The itinerary in theHalf marathon runs flater and less technial than the 42k
- EQUIPMENT
The organization has looked for the best dates (October) to avoid the heat, cold and the monsoon effect, so dry weather is assumed and without major alterations but this is not under control, even so, the environmental conditions are different from the start at 5000m altitu
de to the finish area in Pisang at 3200m altitude so the temperature may vary. Likewise, the weather can be changeable in the mountains.
A temperature is foreseen that could vary from 5ºC at the start to 20ºC at the time of the year of the celebration,
so the organization will have a point where the participant could unload clothes such as gloves, hat, jacket if it were of a nuisance.

Participants can register individually, as a team/company (from 2 to 5 participants) or as companions. Prices are per person, not per team). Registered by team must fill in the team name on the form.

Accommodation is shared in a double room in a hotel and during the trek in a mountain hotel. In the registration form you have to confirm with whom to share a room
